My son, Christopher, and I will miss seeing George at Sun Key Village. We always seemed to meet him at the pool at least once each visit where he would immediately take an interest in Christopher and help him to improve on his swimming skills. I'm sure all of Sun Key Village will miss you.
My Uncle George was one of the most talented, intelligent, and charismatic people I have ever met in my life. He offered so many surprises in conversations I've had with him as an adult, with his theories and introspection about life, spiritualism, politics, and his own unique experiences within this world. I have so many memories of him, from him telling me that one of his dogs Snowball, doesn't mean to hurt or scare me she is just being protective of her owners. To making traditional polish foods for Christmas, including ear soup and gefilte fish (which I still find intolerable to eat). He shared his recipe for Bigos (along with his wife Christine), that lives on in my recipe book. He shared his art with the world, he shared his history of Poland in his book, he shared his love to those close to him.
He will be missed always.....
