Richard and Gloria and Family:

\Sorry to read about Bobby in todays st Pete Times. He was a good person and fun to be around. We had lots of good times and laughs with him and the family over the years. We would see him every once in a while when he was working at Publix and he was always so happy to see us and we were always glad to see him. He will be missed by many. We are planning on be there Saturday morning for his Memorial Service. We became friends instantly at Lakewood United Church of Christ along with Andy and Martha.

Our church youth group went to Pass-a-grille Beach together. All of us in the gulf, an over-sized wave swept in with a bit of undertow...fearing for my very life, I reached out, found myself clinging to Bobby Saul, who, though skinny as a rail, was pillar enough to make me feel secure that he could save my life! I realized as I again stood upright that one of my little hands had hold of him in a, shall we say, very personal area...hmmm. The important thing is that he indeed saved the fair maiden.
