Brooke Lipsitt
Marcia -- After trying to reach your mother to wish her a happy birthday and finding her phone number disconnected, I finally located her obituary and then did not know how to find you to share my sadness. Your mother was the oldest of the 7 first cousins on your grandmother's side and always seemed so glamorous to us when we were young. (My father Henry's birthday was the day before hers, and I know while my mother was alive she always called to wish your mom well, and I have continued that tradition in the years since, but I obviously must have missed last year.)
My husband Paul and I visited with your mother from time to time when we escaped New England winters for a week or two in Florida. The last time was about two years ago. I still recall that we met at a Panera for coffee and maybe lunch. Your mother's laugh echos in my ears and I can still see that wonderful smile.
I hope this finds you well and that you have many fond memories of your time with your mother,
Brooke Kruger Lipsitt
