George Howard Snyder, 75, of Bradenton, FL passed away May 11, 2017 after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. He was born on August 28, 1941, in Waynesburg, PA to the late Edward Earl Snyder and Gene O'Neal Snyder. He is survived by his wife Beverly Snyder, his 2 brothers Edward E. Snyder, Jr., Vernon Snyder and sister Louise Mahan. His four children Jody Wyatt, George H. Snyder, Kevin M. Snyder and Jeremy D. Snyder; and 3 step-children Sharon McClean, Jeff Strickler and Jay Strickler. Howard also had 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Howard graduated from Washington High School in 1959. He served in the U.S. National Guard for 3 years. Howard worked for Cooper Industries – McGraw Edison Power Division, Canonsburg, PA retiring after 27 years of service. Howard retired to Bradenton, FL in 1994 to the River Isles Golfing community where he enjoyed golfing with his many friends. A memorial service in his memory will be held at River Isles Clubhouse on Saturday 6/3/17 at 4pm. Location is 1014 Bay Tree Rd, Bradenton, FL 34208.
