James was a wonderful man, I never actually worked a shift with him, but my shift followed his so I saw him every Saturday and Sunday morning and we would sit and visit as he caught me up on things I needed to know for my shift. Sometimes after he punched out, he could still be found up to an hour and a half later just hanging out with us telling us his plans for the day, whether going to have pizza with his sister or his marathon on TV Land with a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. One night I worked a late shift and we'd had a particularly rough night, it was extremely difficult for myself. There was something very out of the ordinary that happened and I was pretty shaken. He comforted me and put his arm around me while telling me "you know I'm not a hugger" but he was taking care of me, which is what he did, he always took care of others. He was very kind and loving and though, like Sylvia said, he would try to deny it, it shone though.
James will be missed and I know he's left a huge void in many lives. May his family and close friends find peace and strength to get through the difficulty of feeling this loss.
I worked with James for 15 years and will never forget his great sense of humor and ability to stay calm during very stressful circumstances. He was a friend to everyone he worked with and had a positive influence on the lives of thousands of people that he came in contact with .May you rest in peace my friend.
Sincerely, Kyle Hodsdon
James and I work together, sharing many wondeful memories during our overnight shifts. James had a loving and big heart although he often denied it. James was a quiet angel. I lost touch with James when I moved but he holds a special place in my heart. My fondest memory of James is when he attended church with me and the building did not burn down as he said it would. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Jaime was my cousin, we spent many good times together growing up. Rest in Peace❤️
James and I worked together for many years and became friends and thankfully stayed in touch and I am so glad I got to spend time with him last week. He was a good man; caring, funny, extremely intelligent. I have so many wonderful memories of him including our shared love of 80s music and all things Rankin and Bass. I want to offer my deepest sympathy to his family and you are in my prayers. My mother also met him a couple of times but felt like she knew him even better because she heard about all of the wonderful things he did during the years we worked together and she would like me to offer her deepest sympathy to his Mom and Dad and the rest of his family.
