Tina M. Powell, 53, of Palmetto passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Tidewell Hospice, Venice, FL. Born in Belleville, IL, she was the daughter of John and Sandra Whitaker Seres. Moving to Florida when she was only a year old, she was raised in Palmetto and graduated from Palmetto High in 86. She worked at the Bealls Distribution Center and loved her job! Tina had the biggest heart and an amazing gift of loving completely and unconditionally. She was a sensitive soul and at times this world was a bit harsh for her. Rest assured her soul is at peace and no longer suffers. It saddened Tina, knowing that she would be missing out on seeing her granddaughter grow up but now she can see her from above and be her guardian angel! Aurora loves you Mimi. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, John Bradley and her great grandparents Wanda and Melvin Whitaker. She will be remembered, loved and missed by her daughter, Britney Powell (Patrick Jauss); her granddaughter, Aurora Marie Powell Jauss; and her parents, John and Sandra Whitaker Seres. A memorial service will be held on a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens. .
