Susan was a high school classmate that became a good friend the summer we graduated. She was always full of life and a fun fun friend with an infectious laugh. Susan swore that CCR's song, "Lookin' Out My Back Door" was written for her. When she would return home after visiting Carbondale, she would call singing, "Just got home from Illinois." We joked about that for years. We're going to miss Susan and her beautiful laugh. The thought that she's with Eddie again makes us smile. Our sincere condolences to her family.

I met Susan at a grievance group of people who lost their spouse. She and I became immediate best friends and stuck together for the entire time. If either of us were having a bad day all we had to do was call the other person !
I don't know what I will do without that support. God Bless you Susan - Rest in Peace - You are missed 😢 💔

Met this amazing lady and her hubby on a cruise ship going to Hawaii. From the first day we fell in love with them. We disembarked the day before Thanksgiving. Their plan was to travel to Los Angeles to get a hotel and be on standby for a flight out. By then they were already our super friends. I forbid them to go set in hotel.
We took them to my daughters house who lives on San Diego. Had a wonderful several more days together celebrating Thanksgiving. When we dropped them off at Los Angeles Airport we both cried a river. We had so much fun, so many laughs and memories made. Thank you Susan & Eddie for all you have shared with us.
Rest my friends, until we meet again on the streets of gold!! 🙏🥰🙌

in honor of Susan.

Susan would drive in the golf cart to visit Paula and I in Bradenton. Every afternoon Susan and baby would come to our house. Baby would put his face on the front glass and look in. He wanted me to come outside so he could have treat. They (Susan and Baby) where our neighbors for 5 years before we moved away. Paula and I will remember and miss Susan for the rest of our lives.

Sue and I have been friends since elementary school. We were in the same Girl Scout troop and went to GS camp together when we were 10 years old. We were both so homesick, we cried our eyes out the whole time. I loved her laugh and positive attitude. She was someone you truly enjoyed being around and she always made you feel very special. We continued our friendship through high school. It was wonderful seeing her at our 50th class reunion. We laughed and reminisced about old times! She was radiant and so fun to be with. She will be missed by many, including me.

We have been friends since the 60's. There were Obadiah memories and although we didn't spend as much time as we should have the last 20 years the times we did were a blast from Taco Tues to sight seeing. The blessing is that you are free of pain and spending a most glorious time with Eddie and Camilla and all who went before you. I know Ken is missing you as we all do but you had to go. When God reached for you the beauty was beyond.
