Susan D Sykes' Obituary
Susan D. Sykes, 72, of Bradenton, passed away on July 3, 2022, at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Born April 20, 1950, in Carbondale, IL, she was the daughter of the late James and Juanita (Beaty) Daniels. She worked with the IRS as a computer operator. She loved animals but especially her dog, Baby and her cat, Woody. One of her greatest joys was traveling and cruising. She spent time with her friends socializing and laughing and enjoying the beaches of Florida.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 plus years, Eddie Sykes.
She is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Jeff) Wasik and Julie Sykes; her grandson, Caleb Wasik.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday July 10, 2022, from 1-3pm at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 11, 2022, at 11am with interment to follow.
