My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have good memories of always being welcome in her home when I came over with Bill.
I remember many many times when I would come home with Amy after school, and we would plop our books down and grab a snack of some kind. Joan always welcomed me in her home as though I was one of her kids. She was never nosy, but she was always there if we needed her wise motherly advice. She is certainly loved, and she will be missed by many of us!
Joan was a wonderful woman who made our Dad very happy during their marriage. They were a charming couple together.
She could not have been more charming to us and our entire family. We were so blessed she came to be a part of our family.
Dad will be very happy to be with her again.
