So sad to hear of Alan's death. My mother, Lea Bailne Silverstein, worked with Alan at Adath Israel in the 1970s. She has spoken about him over the years with much gratitude and love, and wants me to let you know that his memory is a blessing to her.
I have had the pleasure of being Alan's Travel Agent and friend since 1979. He was a wonderful guy and I will miss him very much.
