Al was very special to me when I first joined Lalmplighters and later on when I was able to visit him and to meet him in person. He will be missed.

Thoughts and prayers are being sent to Joanne, the children, and grandchildren during this hard time. I am sorry for your loss. Me and David are very sorry to see Al go so soon. He has been a good friend to me over the years. He stepped in to help out with a website in Augusta when I returned to school and could no longer take care of their website. He was one of those people when you asked him to help out he was always there and would do a good job. We've supported each other elsewhere online when things were rough for one or the other of us. He gave pretty good cyber hugs when needed. I'll always remember the visits we had to his home and especially the one where him and David were playing with the flight simulator. They were like little kids with a new play toy. I'm sure he will be sitting down with our friends Bill and Bob giving them the updates on how things have progressed since they left us a few years ago. Al was my friend and I will miss him.
We're so sorry to hear of Allen's passing. I'll always remember our childhood memories on Lincoln St. We had a lot of fun growing up together, our summer vacations at Plum Island etc. Love Your cousin Jody
