He was a Retired President of Heather Hills Golf Club of Bradenton and he attended the Fellowship Church of God. Predeceased by parents, Alva and Jennie (Kelley) Copeman, Sr.; brother, Vernon Copeman; sister, Evelyn Rowe; survived by wife of 64 years, Mary M. of Bradenton, FL; sons, Larry J. (Connie); Ricky L (Janise) and Craig A. (Nancy) all of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Melinda S. (Greg) Chevalier of Orlando, FL and Debbie A. (Chris) Porter of Clermont, FL; sister, Ruth Foster of Webberville, MI; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Visitation 12-2PM Sunday, April 12, 2015 with Services to follow at 2PM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Bradenton Christian School Athletic Fund, 3304 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
