Amando Garcia-Verastegui Sr's Obituary
Amando Garcia Verastegui Sr, age 60 passed away at his son’s home under hospice care and his family surrounding him. He was born in Guerrero Mexico to Vicente Garcia Garcia and Lucilla Verastegui del Grado. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Amando was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Bradenton. He played basketball in High School, enjoyed the outdoors especially lying in his hammock, and doing gardening. He leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife Maria Elena Ramirez Salazar; two sons Amando Garcia Jr and Ivan Garcia Rivera; his mother Lucilla Verastigui del Gardo; brothers Victor Garcia Verastegui and Marco Verastigui; sisters Socorro Garcia Verastegui, Cipriano Garcia Verastegui, Soyla Garcia Verastegui and Marie Humilde Garcia Verastegui, grandchildren Amando Garcia III, Gabriel, Israel, Marisol, Sofia, Marabelle, and Ivyanna. The family will receive friends 5:00- 6:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church of Bradenton, 2113 57th Street East, Bradenton, Florida 34208. A service will follow the visitation at the church. Following the services Amando will be cremated under the care of Skyway Memorial Funeral Home.
