Annie Mae Thomas' Obituary
Annie Mae Thomas, 91 of Palmetto went home to be with the Lord July 3, 2013. During her early adult years, she met the love of her life David Thomas Sr. and the two entered into holy matrimony September 3, 1941. Annie was a woman who displayed great strength and pride. She was known in the community for her cooking and baking skills as many paid her to cook for them. The Lord kept her in her right mind and she never let her family forget just how capable she was of taking her own medicine and caring for herself. Her husband David Sr., Daughter: Dorothy, Grandson: Sylvester, Great Grandsons: Richard and David IV have all paved the way home for her and are now greeting her at the Gates to Heaven. She leaves precious memories to her children: David Jr, Nettie Bellamy, Ola Sheppard, Annie Jean-Louis, Pearlie Williams, Mary Thomas, Gail Standifer and Janice Johnson; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Visitation:6-8pm Friday with Service: 11am Saturday (both at Happy Gospel Church-1915 53rd Avenue East Bradenton. Bradenton FH in charge.
