Arlen T Harter's Obituary
Arlen Trevor Harter, 41, died unexpectedly at home on September 17, 2023. He was born November 16, 1981, in Bradenton, FL the son of John W. Harter and Donna Pascual Harter. Arlen graduated from Southeast High School, class of 2000. Following graduation he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 2013. He was a pharmacist for Manatee County Rural Health Services for 3 years and a pharmacist for Winn Dixie for 9 years.
Arlen was quiet yet secretly silly to those who knew him well. He was called “FUNcle” Arlen by his nieces and nephews. Living on the Manatee River he loved fishing and boating with family and friends. He had a variety of interest from to guitar to gardening to making jerky. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working out at the gym with his dad and Dinorah. On his days off he could often be found in a Gator shirt, smoking ribs with his family. He was passionate about Gator football and never wanted to miss a game. He was an excellent pharmacist, respected and loved by his patients and co-workers. He will be missed so much and remembered with love by everyone who knew him.
He was predeceased by his brother Aaron Harter. He is survived by his parents John and Donna Harter; two sisters: Andrea LaBranche and her husband Wayne LaBranche, and Audrey Kirby and her husband Kevin Kirby; beloved girlfriend Dinorah Rizzo; five nieces and nephews, Laney LaBranche Pinkham, Garrett LaBranche, Grace LaBranche, Kayla Kirby, and Kyle Kirby; and a host of other family and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held 11 am Saturday September 30, 2023 at Mill Creek Baptist Church ,where Arlen grew up attending, 12713 Upper Manatee River Road Bradenton, FL 34212. Lunch will be after the service at the church fellowship hall. Private inurnment with be at Skyway Memorial Gardens 5200 US Highway 19 Palmetto, FL 34221. Those who wish to remember Arlen in a special way may make gifts in his memory to Mill Creek Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
