Armandina M. Caixeiro's Obituary
Armandina M. Caixeiro, 84, was called home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born March 25, 1937 in Valbom, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria A. (Pereira) Fernandes. Dina had many hobbies and interests including ceramics, cooking, knitting, embroidering, traveling and facebook. Dina married her best friend, Jose A. Caixeiro, in Portugal on February 16, 1952. Together, they built a life and family grounded in their faith.
She will be remembered and missed by her devoted husband of nearly 70 years, Jose A. Caixerio; her beloved children, Americo Caixeiro and his wife, Nancy Caixeiro and Fernanda Baker and her husband, Jeffrey Baker; her cherished grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Baker, Mark Baker, Nicholas Caixeiro, Ashley (Craig) Carden and Amanda Caixeiro; her precious great-grandchildren, Sofia Baker and Claire Baker.
Family and friends are invited to an evening visitation Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 5-7pm at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home, 5200 US Hwy 19N, Palmetto, and to a brief gathering from 9am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10am on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Holy Cross, 505 26th Street W., Palmetto, Florida. Interment will follow services at Skyway Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home.
