Pastor Arnold Allen Brevick's Obituary
Pastor Arnold Allen Brevick, born on March 6, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away surrounded by family and love. He was the beloved son of the late Francie and Arnold Brevick and is preceded in death by them. He is survived by his devoted brothers, Dan and Phil Brevick, and his cherished children, Josh Hebert, Jonathan Hebert, and Elizabeth Denny, and 16 grandkids.
A pastor for many decades, he lived a life of unwavering faith, tireless service, and deep compassion. He shepherded and uplifted countless souls throughout his ministry, offering wisdom, comfort, and the kind of selfless care that defined his life. If you needed help, he would quite literally give the shirt off his back without hesitation.
He loved food and fellowship, believing that some of life’s most sacred moments happened around a shared meal. He was also a passionate student of theology, a gifted writer, and a man of remarkable intellect. His memory was sharp and disciplined—he memorized hundreds of Scripture verses and could recall them with clarity and purpose.
Even in his final days, he remained a quiet strength for his family—loving, loyal, and always nearby, even when unwell. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A service in celebration of his life will be held July 20th at Word of Life Church in North Port Fl. 6pm. Potluck meal to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to The Cat Depot in honor of Pastor Arnie Brevick, whose compassion and love for all of God's creatures touched many lives.
