Barbara Lois Cole's Obituary
Barbara Lois Cole, 80, of Bradenton, FL passed away on July 11, 2022. Barbara was born on December 15, 1941 in Newark, NJ to Peter and Eleanor Friederich. She graduated Collinswood High in 1959 and the Delaware Hospital School of Nursing in 1962, and began working as a nurse until 1997. Barbara met the love of her life and married Franklin Cole in 1973. Barbara enjoyed socializing with the Greenfield Golf Group for many years and made many lasting friendships during her retirement years in Florida. She loved arts and crafts as well as dancing, especially with her beloved husband the late Frank Cole. One of her greatest joys was going on Cruises with the whole family, creating cherished memories. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Christin Eley and husband Steve Hodgkinson of Bradenton, FL, and David Eley and wife Jennifer of Middletown, DE; grandchildren: Mason L. Ingallinera, Camryn Eley, Samantha Eley, and Brooke Eley; sister Marion Fanning of Fair Play, SC and a host of other family and friends. Private services will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022.
