Burgess, Barton Wayne 51, of Tampa, passed away March 19, 2016. Barton was born in Sanford, FL and was a longtime resident of Tampa where he worked as a chef for many local restaurants. He is survived by his loving parents, Wayne Read Obituary
Our sincere sympathy to the Burgess family as they cope with the loss of Bart. While my husband and I didn't know Bart well, Bart's parents have been our friends for a long time and our hearts are heavy for them and the rest of Bart's family. Know that Bart is now with our Lord in heaven and he is at peace. We love you all.

Bart was my date for the Sadie Hawkins dance when we were in 9th grade. We had a great time and remained good friends all through high school. Sadly we lost touch for many years until we reconnected on FB. One thing I will always remember was his smile! It could light up a room. RIP, my friend.
I owe all my mad skateboarding skills to Bart! My condolences to the Burgess family.
