Beatrice "Bea" Grahn's Obituary
Beatrice "Bea" Grahn, 84, of Bradenton, Florida passed away October 8, 2015. Beatrice was born in Roseau, Minnesota to the late; Victor and Alidia (nee Severson) Albin. She married the love of her life, Evan Grahn in 1950. Beatrice attended Bethany Fellowhip School of Missions from 1958-1961 and earned her degree in Theology. She and Evan served as Missionaries for more than 26 years. Her life was spent in service to others, she cared for the ill, transported those without the means, fed the hungry, visited the ones who could not leave. She loved and gave with all of her heart. Beatrice enjoyed activities in Missionary Village, aka, Il Villagio, cooking dinners for friends and spending time with her family. Beatrice will be deeply missed.
Beatrice is survived by her husband of 65 years, Evan Grahn, of Bradenton, FL, son, Matthew (Mary) Grahn, of Seattle, WA, sister, Ardys Erickson, of Little Falls, MN, grandchildren; Cindy Grahn and Jonathan Grahn. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Helen, Gerda, Bessie, John and an infant brother and sister.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Skyway Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home, Palmetto, FL.
