Jay was a kind and giving man, who would literally give you the shirt off his back. He never met a stranger and was the life of the party. He will be missed beyond measure. I hope that his kindness and generosity will be an example to others. We will miss you Uncle Jay. Thank you for being apart of our lives.

You sometimes meet someone in your life who makes a lasting impression on your soul, and Jay was one of those people. Kind, generous and fun loving. Someone with whom you could have a serious conversation as well as a hardy laugh that makes you cry hysterically. Someone who loved good food and fun adventures and who shared both with us in the all too short time we knew him.

My heart is heavy reading this and writing this little note. Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of Bernie. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and positive light that entered every room and business meeting we were in together. The way he treated others and the way he treated me on my first day speaks to the kind of person he was. Bernie will be truly missed.
