Bessie Jean Hamilton's Obituary
Bessie Jean Hamilton, age 80, of Bradenton, passed over chilly Jordan into Canaan's fair land on Jan. 31, 2013. battles all done, victory now won. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ga. and came to Manatee Co. in 1948. She graduated from Manatee High School in 1950. She was a bookkeeper for Woolworth for 20 years. She retired from the Bradenton Herald after 23 years of service. She is survived by her brother Earl (Ellen) Hamilton,Bradenton; sister Carol Hamilton, Bradenton; nephew Ellis (Sandy) Hamilton, Hillsboro, OR; niece Tammy (Tom) Brally, Bradenton; and her Bradenton Herald co-worker and friend, Ms. Louise Tucker of Kingston, TN. Interment will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens with services in their Chapel on Feb. 5, 2013 at 2pm with the Rev. Roland Davis officiating. Arrangements are by Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 43rd St. Chapel, Bradenton, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice .
