Mom,
This is such a hard thing to write. I can't believe still you are not here with us. I'm glad for the time our family had to spend with you, but I wish it could have been more.
I want to thank you for all the love, guidance, and dedication you gave to us growing up. I will never forget the dedication you gave to us. You were a wonderful mother to us. Thank you for all the learning experiences and giving such a good child-life to us.
It was very heartbreaking to watch you deteriorate so quickly over the past few months, but the time spent will not be forgotten. We don't go by a day without thinking of you and the memories.
The time with us including Christmas will not be forgotten and we were blessed to be with you. I will (and our family) never forget ice cream, peppermint candy, Blue Bloods, applesauce, the ringing of the bell, CNN news, smiles, feedings, the cat blanket, teddy bears, remote control frustrations, dry mouth, holding your hand, and all the thank you's to us and the medical professionals.
I love and miss you,
Jeff
