Bonnie Bickal's Obituary
Bonnie Bickal, 86, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Bradenton FL. Bonnie was a resident of Holmes Beach for 56 years. She lived her last 4 years in Bradenton. Bonnie was born March 26, 1939, in LaJunta co to Harold and Louise Bricker.
Bonnie was a Teacher's Aide at Anna Maria Elementary School for almost 20 years. She retired in June 2000. She loved the children. She enjoyed helping and watching over them. She made many good friends with the Teachers and Staff.
Bonnie was a long-time member of Roser Church. She was also a member of the Women's Guild. She served on the Guild until she was not physically able to do it. She loved her Roser Church.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters Laurie (Jim) Ferrara, Sherry Bickal, her son Mark Bickal. Her sister and brother-in-law Karen and John Nickel-Winfield KS. Her sister-in-law Rita Singh - Arvada CO. She had 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; as well as 3 nephews and a few cousins out West. Special friend Bill McDonald who is family to us.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Jim Bickal, Granddaughter Summer Rae Bickal.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto FL
The family wishes to thank Brookdale Palma Sola Senior Living and Affinity Hospice Care for their loving and excellent care for our Mother.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Roser Church or Affinity Hospice Care.
