Brigido Hernandez's Obituary
Brigido Hernandez, 78, of Palmetto, Florida passed away June 4, 2015. Brigido was born in Rincon De Centeno, GTO, Mexico and began coming to the United States at the age of 15 on work visas. He and his beloved wife of 63 years, Ninfa, and their family moved to Florida permanently 30 years ago. During his working years, Brigido was employed as an agriculture laborer and landscaper. Brigido was a man with a very strong work ethic and did not have much free time. He enjoyed his time relaxing, playing guitar and spending time with his family. He was of the Catholic faith.
Brigido is survived by his wife, Ninfa Hernandez, of Palmetto, sons; Jose Juan (Teresa Lopez) Hernandez, of Lakeland, Antonio (Esperanza) Hernandez, of Palmetto, Javier Hernandez, of High Spring, daughters; Maria Victoria Hernandez, of Bradenton, Lus Maria Hernandez and Maria Rachel Hernandez, both of Mexico, 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brigido was preceded in death by his parents; Isaias Hernandez and Maria Figueroa Hernandez.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 6-8 pm in the chapel at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home.
Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11 am on Friday, June 12, 2015. Burial will follow at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
