Carolyn Jean Whitmore's Obituary
Carolyn Bentley Whitmore, of of Russell, PA died Tuesday, July 18th 2023 in Parrish, FL.
Carolyn was born March 20th 1957 in Ybor City, Florida, the daughter of Roy Ariel Bentley Sr, and Jean Mae Hare. She attended Ellenton Elementary and Palmetto High School. She was a cake decorator and baker for years at Publix Supermarkets, where she retired in 2015. She attended Wiltsie Community Church in Russell, PA. Carolyn loved to read, fish, going out on the boat, tending to her many plants and flowers, and spending time with her family. She loved to go to garage sales, antique stores, and had an extensive Nutcracker and Indian décor collection. Carolyn had a keen sense of decorating and could make any house feel like a home. Her true love was being Nana to her grandchildren. Carolyn is predeceased by, her Beloved Husbands, Mark S. Turner Sr. and David W. Bartram, brothers David and Danny Bentley and sister Beth Ramsey. Survivors include: Carolyn's Husband, Doug Whitmore, Russell, PA, loving son Mark Steven Turner Jr, and his wife Pamela (Foster), her loving daughter Crystal Turner Kennedy, sisters Cynthia Orozco, Brenda Baggett, Ronda Bentley Rumbaugh, Juanita Sue Bentley, and step sister Sandy Moran. Brothers Randy Davis, Steven Bentley, Roy Bentley Jr., Chris Bentley, Shane Bentley. Mother-in-law Delores Whitmore, 5 Grandchildren, Abigail Reeder, Hannah Yochim, Emily Pinkston, Jillian Turner, and Joshua Turner. In addition to special Aunt Dales Niles Chenicek. A Celebration of her life at Skyway Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday July 22, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 concluded with a beautiful Dove release to honor Carolyn's wonderful life.
