Carrie E Adams' Obituary
Carrie E. Adams, of Bradenton, Florida (Formerly Bridgton, ME) died on April 4, 2020. Carrie was born in Tremont, Maine to Wyman and Lillian Closson. Carrie married Ernest F. Adams Jr. on July 15, 1951. Carrie and her husband Ernest were the owners of Adams Bakery for almost 30 years in Bridgton, Maine.
Carrie and Ernest were longtime members of the Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Bridgton. She was active in the church. She had served as a Sunday school teacher, Womens Missionary Prayer Fellowship president, and had a heart for missions, she and Ernest supported many missionaries during their lifetime. Carrie also taught childrens Bible clubs under the Child Evangelism organization.
Carrie was preceded in death by her Husband Ernest F. Adams Jr., son in law James Bliss, and granddaughter Sarah Adams. Carrie is survived by her children: Ernest F. Adams III and wife Trinh, Adele M Ridpath, Valerie Bliss Mitchell and husband Alan, Timothy J. Adams and wife Barbara, and Rev Erick J. Adams and wife Anne; she is also survived by four sisters Eunice, Madolyn, Esther, and Sheila, 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. A memorial service will take place at a later date
