Christopher A Mason's Obituary
Christopher (Chris) Allen Mason, age 57, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday June 23, 2026, in Parrish, Florida, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Muncie, Indiana, on April 17, 1969, to Dale and Teresa (Antrobus) Mason and grew up in Pendleton, Indiana. He graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1987, where he participated in multiple sports. He went on to attend Indiana University but earned his bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship at Ball State University.
Chris and Toyzanne Albregts married in 1993 and moved to Arizona to begin their life together. It is here where Chris earned his MBA at Arizona State University in 1997.
Chris and his family later moved to Beavercreek, Ohio, where he co-founded The Perduco Group in 2011 with his wife, Toyzanne Mason, and business partner, Stephen Chambal.
Chris loved sports, especially playing basketball and golf. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, particularly watching his daughters at their sporting events and coaching from the sidelines. Although he proudly cheered on his daughters’ universities, he was always rooting for Indiana University. He also enjoyed playing card games, especially poker with his friends.
Chris leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Toyzanne Mason; his four daughters, Halle Mason (Tampa), Sydney Mason (Dayton), Zoe Mason (Cincinnati), and Ellie Mason (Charlotte); his mother, Teresa Mason; and his sister, Lori (Michael) Medvig, niece, Lauren Medvig, and nephew, Ashton Medvig. Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Sandra Albregts, sister-in-law, Tamara (Matt) Warfel, niece, Jaden Warfel, and nephew, Jaxon Warfel, and extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Dale Mason.
Chris suffered from progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a rare brain disease that affects movement, balance, vision, and swallowing. PSP is one of the most common types of atypical parkinsonism and because there is currently no cure for this condition, continued research is essential. In the hope of helping others, the family generously donated his brain to the Mayo Clinic to advance research into this devastating disease
A celebration of Chris’ life will be held 2:00 pm– 4:00 pm July 12, 2026, at Country Club of the North, 1 Club North Drive, Beavercreek, Ohio 45385. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to https://give.curepsp.org.
