Colleen Ann Rosenberg's Obituary
Colleen Ann Rosenberg, 75, of Ellenton, Florida, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on March 23rd at Manatee Memorial Hospital. A physician who cared for her shared that, in her final moments, she appeared to be looking upward toward heaven as her heart gently came to rest. He described her as “the sweetest lady,” deeply touched by her passing.
Born on September 16, 1950, in Hartford, Connecticut, Colleen was the beloved daughter of Henry and Phyllis (Johnson) Connors.
Colleen was known for her generous spirit and her genuine joy in helping others. She had a gift for making people laugh and spent her life as a devoted and unwavering cheerleader for those she loved. Her love for her family and friends was boundless and steadfast.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Arielle Bennett and her husband Jason of Bradenton, Florida, and Karen Viosine of Massachusetts; her siblings, Keith Connors and his wife Sherry of Englewood, Florida, and Wayne Connors of Massachusetts; and her cherished grandson, Destin Sorin of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Craig Connors; and her grandson, Kainen Rosenberg.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In true Colleen fashion, she often said, “Throw a party for me—no depressing ceremonies.”
Cremation services will be provided by Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared with Colleen’s family at https://www.skywaymemorial.com
