Her great grandfather John Craig owned a sugar cane plantation down the street from the Gamble Mansion and was one of the first settlers in Manatee County. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene for most of her life. Cora and her husband Paul loved to travel. She also had a great passion for gardening and nature and shared this adoration with her grandkids. She loved to spend hours playing dominos and card games with friends and family cutting up and laughing showing her great sense of humor. She was a diehard Tampa Bay Bucs fan never missing a televised game. She was an excellent southern style cook and served up delectable desserts, which were always her favorite part of any meal. She was a social butterfly, thriving on good conversation and always made new friends wherever life took her.
