Darlene Mullen's Obituary
Darlene (Mrs. Gordon) Mullen (90) passed away on June 9, 2020, in Bradenton Florida due to Covid19. She was born in Forreston, Illinois to Walter and Lena Paul on June 6, 1930. She was a partner in Flack and Mullen Sewing Center in Freeport, Illinois for multiple years. She was a superb seamstress and designed clothing and home fashion accessories. She also assisted her husband with farming the centennial family farm. She was a lifelong member of Polo Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, her son Gary, and her sister Velma. She is survived by her son Richard G. (Sherry) of Freeport, Illinois and her daughter Debra D of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren,multiple great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and many friends.
She will be interred in Fairmount Cemetery in a private burial service.
In her memory the family requests that donations be made to a Covid19 organization.
