Debra Jane Smith's Obituary
Debra Jane Smith, 52, of Bradenton, Florida passed away June 19, 2015 at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Debra was born January 29, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio, to Donald G. and Mona M. Henson Leaman. Debra moved to Florida in 1984 from Ohio. She has worked for the last 10 years as a receptionist for Furniture Warehouse. Debra enjoyed watching television, including wrestling and her favorite movie of all time, Burlesque, featuring Cher. Debra was a hard working woman and spent as much time as possible with her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe. Her untimely death leaves her loved ones with a deep void to fill.
Debra is survived by her parents; Donald and Mona Leaman, of Bradenton, FL, daughters; Brandy (Jeffrey) Falduto of PA, Nicole (Kyle Kasinger) Travis, of AR, brother, Donald James (Dianna) Leaman, of OH, sisters; Linda (Timothy) Skaggs, of OH, Brenda Leaman, of Bradenton, grandchildren; Brianna Noel, Anthony Blaine, Zakkary Adam, Dominic Michael and Tyler Lee. Debra also leaves behind her boyfriend of 14 years, Pat Massella, of Bradenton and many friends made along the years.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Debra's honor can be made to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
