Delores Jean Rickman's Obituary
Dolores "Jean" Rickman,66,passed away April 30, 2013 in Palmetto, FL. She was born September 13, 1946 in Sarasota, FL. Jean is survived by her mother Rosalee West, sister Brenda (Roger) Oxendine, brothers Charles West Jr. and Jimmy Bird, daughter Lori (Keenan) Kintz, son Roy Rickman Jr., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by father Charles West, sister Linda Dring and great grandchild Riley Rickman. Jean graduated from Palmetto High in 1964. She retired after 35 years from the School Board of Manatee County. After retirement she enjoyed her family, Pug Ozzy, and Bingo. Celebration of life will be Saturday, May 4th. 9:30am-11:00am at the Skyway Memorial Gardens Chapel. 5200 US Highway 19 North Palmetto, FL. 11:00 Interment Private, please. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the All Children's Hospital at 501 6th Ave. South, St. Petersburg, FL. 33701.
