DeWayne William Fintel's Obituary
DeWayne William Fintel, 77, of Bradenton Florida, passed away on April 28, 2013. He was born and raised in Auburn, Nebraska. He went on to graduate from the University of Northern Iowa, where he received a Masters Degree in Education. He married Joni Garren Fintel on April 16, 1976. DeWayne, became a renown teacher at Manatee High School where he taught industrial arts for 40 years. DeWayne was an avid fisherman, talented hunter, brilliant craftsmen and enjoyed spending time camping with his family on the Suwannee River and at their cabin in Minnesota. DeWayne was survived by his wife, Joni Fintel; son, Dick Fintel ; daughter-in-law, Sheri Fintel; daughter, Lisa Henson; son-in-law, Todd Henson; son, DeWayne J. (D.J.) Fintel; daughter-in-law, Holly Fintel; daughter, Amber Clark; son-in-law, Jason Clark; grandson, Richard (Boover) Fintel; granddaughter-in-law, Billie Jo Fintel; grandson, Jason Fintel; granddaughter, Genaveve Henson, granddaughter, Annabel Henson, grandson, Colt Fintel, granddaughter, Emerson Fintel; sister, Leola Hueke; sister, Edus Rippe; sister-in-law, Vivian Fintel; as well as several nieces and nephews, DeWayne was preceded in death by his brother, Erv Fintel. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday, May 2 and the Funeral will be at 1 pm on Friday, May 3 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St. W. Bradenton, 34209. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
