Interestingly Dick watched a TV program two nights before his home going where the speaker mentioned two achievements that encouraged him in his life. First the landing on the moon and second the personal computer. Dick’s life at IBM included honor for Dick’s part in both of these events. Thirty five years in Dick’s life was enjoyed doing volunteer work to glorify God and help Christian organizations and the body of Christ. Dick and Lyn went around the SE states presenting Larry Burkett financial freedom seminars; then they traveled to the Canary Island, Spain and around the U. S. helping Christian organizations that could not afford an IT department. Surviving family include: Wife – Lyn Hardin Family on Dick’s side include: first cousin Gilbert Anderson; 2nd cousins Dane and Dawn Anderson, and Cara Williams Family on Lyn’s side include the Rappe family and the Hreha family. We are thankful for the college age family members who lived with us and became like children to us. In particular, Beau Rappe, who was adopted into our family.
