I read Don's obituary and it didn't surprise me at all. I got to know Don in 1994, in the Baldwin Lake Association. He inspired me to be a community involved person. He convinced me that it would have a lasting effect on my family and me. He was right. Thank you Don for showing me how to make a difference. You made a difference not only for your family but a lot of our families. Gods speed to you and yours.

Dear Bev. When we fist move here you and Don were one of the first to befriend us. Yes it was almost 13 years ago. One memory I have of Don, is his caring for others and wanting to make others happy. He was such a gentleman always. Remembering him Polka dancing around the dance floor like Lawrence Welk back in the day. You were so fortunate to be loved by him. Met Don much later in life upon moving into Colony Cove 2010. Always struck me as a Good Guy, and always helping throughout Colony Cove. Good President of Friendly Social Club. Unfortunately some of the jokes he told at Sat.morning coffee hours were Real Groaners😊😊!! I will miss him as will many others.

Don was always generous with his time and kind heart. I remember a few Tuesday group boat rides to go eat lunch and back. Great time to be with friends enjoying Florida on the water. Our deepest condolences to Bev, Jean, and the rest of the family. R.I.P., Don!😇

Will never forget how Don and Bev and Jeannie all jumped in to helping put up the outside Christmas decorations 2 years, oh how we fought with the wind I was and still am blessed by having them in my life.
