Doris Colleen Johnson's Obituary
Doris Colleen Johnson, 91, of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully, July 2, 2024, at The Ranch Assisted Living in Bradenton.
Doris was born February 28, 1933, in Claypool, IN, the daughter of Robert and Lucille (Rager) Pyle. She married Glenn Johnson in 1954.
Doris and her husband, Glenn owned and operated Johnson Camper Sales for 25 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren of Bradenton. She enjoyed needlework, camping, crafts and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane Thifault of Bradenton, sisters, Esther May of Warsaw, IN, Evelyn Boyd of Sebring, FL, Joan Knoblett of Robinson, IL, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Johnson, son, Stephen Johnson and 2 brothers, Bobby and Cecil Pyle.
Funeral service will be held 12:30 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 12:30 PM Friday at the funeral home and burial to follow.
