Ms. Dorothy Mae Davis' Obituary
Dorothy Mae Davis, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2016 in Arcadia, FL with family by her side.
Born in Andolusia Alabama in 1936, she moved as a young child to Lilly School at Limestone. She's been an active member of the community for over 53 years. You would often fine Dorothy doing word search puzzles or watching baseball on TV.
She was predeceased by her brothers James, Jess, John and Ray Turner; sisters; Aliene Turner and Louise Fairweather and a grandson Joshua. Dorothy's surviving family include her sister Gracie Davis of Marianna, FL; daughters Shirley (Juan) Mora of Arcadia, FL and Brenda Santilli of Idaho; son Bruce Davis; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church in Arcadia, where her services will be held. Those dates and times haven't been finalized by her family, but will be posted here as soon as those arrangements are made.
