Dorothy A. Hagerman's Obituary
Dorothy Arlene Hagerman passed into the presence of her Lord on September 17, 2017, at age 93. In 1924, she was born in Lakefield Township, Michigan to Howard Frederick and Helen (Watson) Hagerman and grew up in Michigan. Following graduation from Omaha Bible Institute, she served as a Missionary in Colombia, South America with Gospel Missionary Union (now Avant Ministries). Upon her retirement from foreign missionary service, she resided at the Bradenton Missionary Village (now Il Villaggio) in Bradenton, Florida and continued in numerous teaching, mission, and church related activities. In addition to loving friends and those touched by her ministries, Dorothy is survived by one brother Robert G. (Marcia) Hagerman, 13 nieces and nephews, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings -- Howard W. Hagerman, Hattie C. King, A. Elaine Bye, Lowell E. Hagerman, and Betty A. Weenink; and five nephews.
Services are entrusted to Skyway Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Her interment will be on Tuesday September 26th, 2017.
A memorial service for Dorothy will be held at Il Villaggio on October 7, 2017 at 11 a.m.
