Dorothy Patterson's Obituary
Dorothy "Dot" Patterson, a long-time resident of Bradenton, died Thursday, February 7 at Westminster Bradenton Manor. She was 96 years old and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Dorothy was born in Eminence Ky. She received Bachelor degrees in Math and Biology. She was a teacher at Walker Jr. High and Manatee High, where she retired as head of the math department. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary Huffmaster of Astor, Florida, her son Stanley Patterson of Bradenton, Florida, as well as four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Ellis Patterson and her grandson Roger Patterson. Memorial service will be held 1pm Monday at Skyway Memorial Gardens (chapel) with Pastor Bobbie Blackburn (Trinity Lutheran Church) officiating. Bradenton Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
