Douglas Edward Parnell's Obituary
Douglas Edward Parnell, 71, of Ellenton, FL passed away January 22, 2026 at HCA Brandon.
Douglas was born September 13, 1954 in Longview, TX, the son of John and Mary Helen (Tucker) Parnell.
Douglas was an IT Specialist, working with the financial and banking industry. Douglas worked at Scott's Tool Repair for over three years and truly enjoyed the time he spent working alongside his bestfriend. He was a long standing member of NA. During his leisure time, Douglas enjoyed his retirement in Florida, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors on the water.
Surviving are his daughters, Cheryl Buck of Metairie, LA, Tyra Sanchez (Clie) of Lithia, FL; grandchildren, Anthony Porche, Brittany Williams, and Ashley Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phil Parnell.
