Edmond R Maurice's Obituary
Edmond Raymond Maurice, 94, of Bradenton, FL passed away on May 20, 2022. He was born on March 1, 1928, in Amesbury, MA and was a WW2 veteran. One of his greatest honors was to participate in an Honor Flight for veterans to the National World War2 Memorial in Washington DC.
He is survived by his wife Myra and her children Dale and Vicky Rich, daughters Cheryl Murphy and Linda Pray, son Robert and his wife Tammy. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; Jason and Jereme Valentine, Tanya Conners, Craig Pray, Justin and Nicole Maurice, and fourteen great-grandchildren; Jacob and Vincent Valentine, Ryland, Colten, Eva, Savannah, Emma, Ryleigh, Max, Kolton, and Karson Maurice, Joseph and Tyrus Conners, and Logan Pray. Brother of Lionel, Dorothy, Denise, Lucy, Jerry, and Aurele.
Ed was an expert marksman, gun collector, hunter, and avid pool player who loved to dance and go on cruises. He backpacked through Europe and ran his own masonry company in New Hampshire. He was a member of the Masons, the VFW and other civic organizations.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation and services on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home 5200 US HWY 19N, Palmetto. Interment will follow services at Skyway Memorial Gardens with military honors.
