Edward A. McIntyre's Obituary
Edward A. McIntyre, 82, Holmes Beach, FL went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2014 under the loving care of his family at Tidewell Hospice of Bradenton. Mr. McIntyre was born on August 2, 1931, in Butler, Pennsylvania to his parents Edward and Helen McIntyre. He was a former General Superintendent for Paver Construction of Sarasota. He was of the Christian faith and a Knights Templar 32nd degree Mason with F&A.M. Lodge of Sarasota, Florida. Mr. McItyre loved history and enjoyed working with his hands especially wood working and cabinet making. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years: Irene Flinn of Holmes Beach, FL; four sons: Curtis E. (Vicki) McIntyre of Celebration, FL, Milton G. (Delynn) Flinn of Estero, FL, Douglas J. (Penni) Flinn of Louisville, KY and Michael C. (Shirley) Flinn of Ruskin, FL; three daughters: Michele (Todd) McIntyre-Engle of Lake Mary, FL, Sandra J. (Frank) Klim of St. Petersburg, FL and Kathleen (Mike) Klozar of Holmes Beach, FL; a sister: Sandy Ellis of Cleveland, TN; nine grandchildren: one Great Grandchild and a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna McIntyre and a daughter Beverly McIntyre. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at CrossPointe Fellowship Church at 8605 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach, FL 34217.
