Edward James McKee Jr's Obituary
SARASOTA - Edward (Eddo) J. McKee, Jr., 38, died unexpectedly at his home on May 16, 2022, in Sarasota, Florida. He was born February 2, 1984 in Newark, New Jersey.
Eddo was known for many things, one of which was his work ethic. At the age of 13, he began his first job as an auto mechanic at Eugene’s Master Mechanic in St. Petersburg, Florida. After graduating from Boca Ciega (Bogie) High School he continued to follow his mechanical interests, working a variety of skilled labored jobs. These experiences lead him to establish his own business, Eddo’s Handyman Services LLC in Sarasota Florida in January 2021. Eddo was also willing to lend a hand and could be counted on to help at any time. He always managed to have a smile on his face while doing so. His passions were his family, friends, classic/sports cars and animals. Above all, he cherished his wife and best friend, Racquel Marie Mckee, whom he married in 2019 and their baby daughter, Skylar Marie. During family time he enjoyed laughing with Skylar, taking her for walks, and popping around the corner to surprise Racquel. He also loved to spoil his two dogs, Tux and Emery.
Eddo was predeceased by his adoptive father, Kim A. Carevic. In addition to his wife, Racquel, and daughter, Skylar, he is survived by his beloved adoptive mother Joan Carevic; his father, Edward James McKee, Sr.; his sister, Kimberly Carevic; two brothers, Jason and Christopher Carevic; and nieces and nephews.
