Ms. Elza Lee Meador's Obituary
Elza Lee Meador (nee Williams) embarked on her journey to Heaven on the evening of December 13th, 2016. She lived a full life and was always someone who would help and serve others. A native Floridian born right here in Manatee county on June 10th, 1941 she later met a gentleman named Jerry Steven Meador. They married in September of 1957 and while Jerry worked at Palma Sola Nursery, Elza began raising their family. She was a lifelong Christian, an active member at Oneco First Baptist Church, doll collector and was always a fan of crafts and sewing. Elza was predeceased by her beloved husband Jerry (2013) and her 3 brothers Nathan, Arthur and James Williams. Her surviving family includes her sisters Julie Adams and Chrisitania Huffman; sons Robert (Tammy) and Jerry Jr.; grandchildren Shannon, Shawn, Shane, Amanda, Ashley and Cody; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation & viewing will be on Tuesday Dec 20th, 2016 at 10am with a funeral service to follow at 11am. All services and her interment will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, FL. www. SkywayMemorial.com
