Rachel and McKenzie, I am a friend of the Gore family (we live in the same neighborhood) and was so excited when Emma McKenzie Gore was born and thought it was such a beautiful name for a beautiful spirit. I sent the Bible verses that you had taped to her crib as a reminder of the love that God had for you and her...then and now. Thank you for your updates, pictures and videos of Emma over the last six years. I have laughed and cried with each one as I watched her grow and face her challenges. Your dedication as parents was so heartfelt and loving and Emma felt it, too. God must have thought you two were very special because He only gives His most valiant warriors His special children...and Emma's love for you came through in each snaggle-toothed grin! Our consolation in our sorrow is that she is now running, jumping, swinging, making new friends and dancing at the feet of Jesus. The moment you are reunited with her you will hear two things. "Well done, good and faithful servants" and .... "Hi mom and dad!" Lisa, Jeff, Martin(Anne), McKInnon(Anne Elizabeth) Maddox
