Essie Mae Harris, 86, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side at Manatee Memorial Hospital on December 16, 2023.
Born on March 1, 1937, in Gay, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Sam Moore and Mary D. Harris. Essie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of those around her.
Essie’s life was a testament to her strength and resilience. Her spirit, her love for her family, and her faith were her guiding lights. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens in Palmetto, Florida at 1:00 PM in the Mausoleum chapel followed promptly by burial and Dove release at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
