Dr. Fang Luke Chiu M.D.'s Obituary
Fang Luke Chiu, M.D., 90, passed away February 23, 2015. He was born March 19, 1924 in China.
He graduated from the Manchuria Medical College in Shenyang, China. He completed his first residency in Taiwan and again in Washington University in St. Louis. He had OB- Gyn private practices in North Dakota and later in Franklin, Indiana. He retired after 45 years and moved to Manatee County, Florida in 1989. He was an avid collector of stamps, coins and commemorative plates.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Li Li; sons, Gordon and his wife Yeni of Miami, Florida; Richard and his wife Dana and their two daughters, Lindsey and Taylor of Columbus, Ohio; James of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Timothy of Columbus, Ohio.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 US Highway 19 N., Palmetto, Florida 34221. Funeral will begin at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens.
