Fatmir Sukaj's Obituary
Fatmir Sukaj, 80, of Sarasota, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home on March 29, 2021. Fatmir was born in Tirana, Albania on January 23, 1941 to Iliaz and Hamide Sukaj. Fatmir worked as an teacher, and Engineer and helped assist in many government projects. Fatmir was a mountain of a man who lived life on his terms. As a passionate athlete he was still able to maintain a six pack when he was 70 and did not stop exercising until his last breath. Always dedicated to his family friends, and sports with pride and joy. Left to Cherish Fatmir's Memory is his loving Wife Liliana Sukaj; daughter Ela and her husband John Davis, and granddaughter Sarah; three brothers: Syrja, Qemal, Bardhyl, and two sisters: Shuqurie and Lumnije; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at 1 pm.
