Florence Carlson's Obituary
Florence Mary Carlson, 89, of New Port Richey, passed away on August 16th 2015. Florence is survived by her loving husband; David Carlson, daughter; Karen Avella and son in law; Jim Avella of New Port Richey FL, as well as her sisters and brother; Grace Hartsock of Mechanicsburg PA, Harold Sisco of Gordonville PA, Verna (Ramon) Bundy of Largo FL, Evelyn (Gary) Carlson of Bothell WA and sister in law; Marion Sisco of Palmyra PA. She was predeceased by her brother; Jay Sisco. Florence and David were married in Chicago in 1948 and were married 67 years. They served as missionaries with TWR (Trans World Radio) for a total of 39 years. They served in Europe in Monaco (20 years), South Africa (3 years) and the U.S. (19 years). Florence is remembered as a beloved and faithful wife, precious mother, and loving sister and friend. She dearly loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and leaned on him, serving him faithfully. A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 12:00 (noon) at Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 Us Highway 19, Palmetto, FL 34221.
